Social Committee Events

The Edgewater Social Committee is a very active group who do their best to keep all owners busy throughout the year. There are many activities and events happening at the Edgewater. Some of these events are scheduled on a regular basis, from weekly to annually and many are impromptu ideas that come from the social minded folks gathering to have some fun.

Some of the scheduled events are Euchre, TGIF, a Golf & Corn Roast/BBQ, Garden Party where the Best Patio Award is named, Indoor/Outdoor Shuffle Board, Wii Resort functions, Pub Nights – Games and Pub Grub, Trick or Treat for the children of Bobcaygeon, Horse Racing, Strawberry Social, Movie & Pizza Nights & Annual General Meeting, Best Appetizer evening, Children’s Fishing Derby and a Turkey Dinner Christmas Party, catered by a local caterer.

The impromptu ideas that happen from time to time can be such times as: a ladies luncheon, a trip to a local casino, lunch and cruise on one of the Kawartha lakes, an outing to our local summer theatre, an organized New Year’s celebration at a local restaurant, butter tart challenge, resident kid photo contest, bring your best gourmet appetizer, musical/poetry/story time party, scavenger hunt and big fish tournament and the ideas just keep coming in.
